When we say fitness is for everyone, we mean everyone! Our youngest is 5 years YOUNG!
Our Teens & Kids program is very successful, ran by coaches that cater to all the needs of each child individually. The workouts consist of constantly varied, functional movements that deliver a fitness that is broad, inclusive and general/scalable for any child at any level. This means the majority of the workouts are never the same; therefore, kids and teens never get bored and keep them excited about participating. The movements involve exercises that are fundamental to all things that kids need to do when they play-pull, push, run, throw, climb, lift and jump.
Our teens program is better than ever! More teens are joining and our current teens are hitting personal records left and right! Everyone has shown great improvement. Since 2010, Fever has impacted the lives of over 60 kids/teens, some of which have excelled in their high school division teams.
Our Fit kids & teens that work out and have fun doing it are an obvious solution to the obesity epidemic. When young athletes are having fun, everything else follows-fitness, health, self-esteem and, yes, elite performance at some point. But fun comes first. Fitness Training builds so much character beyond the physical health. It builds emotional character.
One of the first questions we are asked is “Is my child going to be lifting heavy or doing strength training?” Yes, your child will be doing strength training. No your child will NOT be lifting heavy but instead, they will be lifting according to THEIR body weight and strength. We cycle on and off between different strength exercises consisting of press, deadlift, back squat, front squat and many other exercises.
Done properly, strength training offers many bonuses to young athletes. Strength training is even a good idea for kids who simply want to look and feel better. In fact, strength training can put your child on a lifetime path to better health and fitness.
We are proud to say that there is no typical day at the “box” (aka gym). When your child walks into the box, they have ONE routine – to expect the unexpected and train for the unknown.
At Goal Driven Fitness, we like to train for real life scenarios that your child one day might have to encounter. Whether it is pushing Coach’s car as a team, flipping tires (building teamwork, leadership and communication while being as creative and fun as possible) or picking each other up, these are the types of activities that keep your children entertained and fit at the same time! We take pride in our Coaches creativity; knowledgeable programming and we usually end the class with a 5-10 minute pep talk about education, leadership, responsibilities, role models, etc.
